Today is International Women’s Day. This marks a day where we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
International Women’s Day (or “IWD”) has been observed since the early 1900s. It came about during a time of great expansion in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.
The theme this year is #PressforProgress if you want to follow along on social media. International Women’s Day’s hashtag is #IWD2018.
