Boggs v. Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital

Wife, mother, and first-grade teacher Hilda Boggs lost her life at Camden-Clark hospital in Parkersburg when she was overdosed with anesthesia, and neither the doctor, nor the hospital personnel noticed she had stopped breathing until she had turned blue on the operating table. The case cried out for justice.

Family attorney Chris Rinehart referred the matter to Chris Regan and the case was comprehensively investigated. Hospital personnel had destroyed notes, and medical records had been altered. The case took a trip to West Virginia’s highest court. Ultimately, the jury saw the truth when Regan and Geoff Brown tried the case, and awarded a large verdict that was appealed all the way, and affirmed by the Courts.

A countersuit by the hospital was also successful defended by Bordas & Bordas.
