Established in 1985, Bordas & Bordas has a reputation as one of the premier law firms in the region. The firm includes 19 attorneys and nearly 30 staff members. The firm takes pride in being willing and able to take on any opponent in the courtroom. This reputation is derived from years of success and from obtaining record results in excess of $1 million across a broad range of practice areas. Nearly all of the firm’s cases are handled on a contingency fee basis, which means that clients only pay a fee if a recovery is made for the client. Initial consultations are always free and no retainer is required as the firm advances all case expenses.
The Bordas & Bordas logo is a shield with four quadrants. The quadrants symbolize four things that are important to us - experience, family, community and results. In the center of the logo is a cross that represents the our Christian values.

Giving Back to the Community
While experience and results are two obvious focal points at Bordas & Bordas, giving back to the community is also important. Attorneys and staff alike – whether as a group or individually - make it a point to help others in need, not only financially, but with the gift of time.
Jamie Bordas serves as president of the YMCA Board of Directors and Partner Scott Blass and his wife, Kathy, founded the Ohio Valley Breast Cancer Awareness, Inc., which holds the annual Driving Fore a Cure golf tournament each year to provide support to women treating for breast cancer. More than $30,000 has been awarded to Anti-Bully Ambassadors throughout the region since the award’s inception. The firm has hosted the students in a luxury suite at PNC park for a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game.
In addition, Bordas & Bordas is a long-time supporter of countless charities, some of which include The Soup Kitchen, the Marshall County Animal Rescue League and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
