A Game Day Snack

Are you looking for a fun and easy game day snack to make at home? Or maybe a delicious and easy appetizer to enjoy with your family this weekend? Either way, the following recipe for Pigs in a Blanket will have your mouth watering and wanting more!

This pull apart pigs in a blanket recipe uses cocktail franks and crescent roll dough to make this appetizer fluffy and delicious. It’s also made into a circle for easy grabbing.

What you will need:

1 12oz. package of cocktail franks

2 tubes of crescent roll dough

2 tbsp. Dijon mustard

1 large egg

1 tsp. caraway seeds

How to prepare:

First, heat your oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll your crescent roll dough and brush it with the Dijon mustard. Then cut each crescent roll triangle in half so it makes 2 smaller triangles.

Place one frank on each wide end of the dough and roll it up. After you roll them all up, place them on your cookie sheet in a circle, making sure the dough touches.

Take your egg and beat it with 1 tbsp of water, brush it over the dough and sprinkle the caraway seeds over top. Pop it in the oven and bake until golden brown! It should take roughly 20 minutes.

You can serve your pigs in a blanket with a variety of different dipping sauces. I prefer beer cheese or honey mustard with mine!

Enjoy!
