We’ve all seen houses around town that are decked out in decorations. My girls love seeing all the different decorations and things people come up with. One of my girls is dressing up as Superwoman and my other hasn’t decided yet what she wants to be. At their school, they’ve always had a parade close to Halloween and it’s so neat to see all the different costumes the kids and parents come up with.
Then there is trick or treat. I remember taking a pillowcase and filling it completely up with candy by the end of the night. One thing about living in the country is there might not be as many houses to visit but you get much more candy. Some places have even held trunk or treats. That way everything is at one location.
Another fun thing to do for Halloween is “Boo at the Zoo” at Oglebay. You get to see the zoo and animals and they have it all decorated for Halloween. There are even stations, sponsored by different people, that the kids can stop at and receive candy. It was a lot of fun working “Boo at the Zoo” with Jodi and Justice, the Legal Beagle.
