At your fingertips there are many law movies you can watch from your home. So the next time you are looking for something to watch, consider these three such movies:

Just Mercy (2019)

Just Mercy is a movie that follows Bryan Stevenson, a young Harvard graduate who travels to Alabama to defend the wrongly convicted. The movie, based on the book Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson, is able to grab your attention from the start and provides an interesting insight into a young lawyer’s fight for justice for his clients.

A Civil Action (1998)

A Civil Action is about a leukemia outbreak that occurred in Woburn, Massachusetts. The movie follows Jan Schlichtmann, who is a confident Boston-based lawyer who discovers a major environmental issue that’s causing a cluster of illness in the small Massachusetts town. As the movie unfolds, one sees the battle an attorney faces when litigating a case against a large company. The movie is also in book form, titled: A Civil Actionby Jonathan Harr.

Dark Waters (2019)

Dark Waters is about a corporate defense attorney from Cincinnati, Ohio, bringing suit against DuPont, a large chemical manufacturing corporation. Robert Bilott, the attorney, explores and examines numerous unusual deaths in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and discovers troublesome environmental issues in the community. The movie follows Mr. Bilott for years as he fights to uncover the connection between the chemical manufacturer and the strange alterations to the environment.
