The Judicial Emergency Has Been Extended
On April 22, 2020, the Supreme Court entered an order extending the judicial emergency through May 15. Under the order, all applicable court deadlines and statutes of limitation are tolled until Monday, May 18. Courts will still hear emergency matters and have been given limited authority to hear non emergency matters via telephone or other remote technology.
