Petitioner appeals the November 25, 2014, order of the Circuit Court of Jefferson County that granted the petition for writ of habeas corpus filed by respondent. Habeas relief was granted on the ground that respondent received ineffective assistance of counsel during plea negotiations prior to his criminal trial.
