Chris comes to Bordas & Bordas, PLLC with the unique perspective of having represented and counseled insurance carriers and corporations during his first 15-years of practice. Chris specializes in commercial trucking accidents, automobile accidents, construction defect injury claims and product liability cases. Chris regularly worked with transportation and construction clients to manage catastrophic losses from the time of occurrence and investigation up through and including verdicts. His experience as a defense attorney is an asset in now advocating for victims’ rights.

Chris has lectured to his clients and industry representation on various transportation, construction, OSHA and product liability issues. He also lectured on how to manage exposure in catastrophic loss accidents, including what critical and necessary evidence needs to be preserved when such an event occurs. Chris has also participated in training and education of commercial drivers.

Chris is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny Bar Association and the West Virginia Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania State Courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, the United States District Court for the Southern District, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Chris is also a member of Pennsylvania Association for Justice, American Association for Justice and West Virginia Association for Justice. Throughout his career he was selected for inclusion in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers – Rising Star Edition.

Chris graduated from Dickinson College in 1999 with a B.A. in American Studies and Political Science. He received his J.D. from the University of Duquesne School of Law in 2002.
