Doug Olcott


Douglas ("Doug") joined Bordas & Bordas in April 2018 after spending 12 years with Dallas W. Hartman P.C., Attorneys at Law, the last six of which he was the managing attorney at that firm. Prior to that, he practiced law in New Jersey where he worked primarily as an insurance defense attorney for 16 years.

As a results-driven litigator, Olcott has obtained multiple multi-million-dollar verdicts for his clients. He was also one of the attorneys who represented the plaintiff in Piper vs. Erie Ins. Exchange which resulted in an $18,000,000 settlement, one of the largest insurance bad faith settlements in the history of Pennsylvania. Doug has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, among many other accolades. He received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Montclair State University, receiving honors with both degrees. Doug is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
