Luca DiPiero

Luca’s mission is to advocate for individuals and small businesses that have been harmed by the indifference of powerful institutions. He focuses his practice on complex litigation, and has successfully litigated cases involving insurance bad faith, defective products, consumer protection, and medical negligence.

Luca has presented oral arguments to the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and contributed to several personal injury cases resolving in excess of $1 million. He is committed to achieving exceptional results for his clients through trial and, if necessary, appeal.

During law school, Luca served as an executive editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and authored a comprehensive treatise involving litigation of the ongoing opioid epidemic. He developed his legal writing during externships under Judge Goodwin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia and Justice Donohue of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Luca is licensed to practice in West Virginia and Pennsylvania as well as before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. He is a member of the West Virginia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the Allegheny County Bar Association, and the West Virginia and Pennsylvania Associations for Justice.

A native West Virginian, Luca appreciates the opportunity at Bordas & Bordas to serve clients both in his home state and adopted home of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
